Dickinson Park

Horace Bennett Swimming Pool & Park

Flat Iron Park

Dickinson Park is home to Clark's own amateur baseball league, the Clark Traders, and the local Teener & Legion baseball leagues. The park includes a playground, concession stand, restrooms and showers.

In 2014 & 2015, the Clark Rotary Club gave the baseball field a makeover with new infield grass, irrigation lines, bleachers and sidewalks. We have one of the best fields in our great state!

There are three campsites available with full hookups, located in the park. Camping is on a first come, first serve basis. Reservations are not taken. The cost is $20/night using the on-site payment drop box. The park is located just north of Highway 212 on Kansas Street. The dump station is conveniently located across the street. Contact the Finance Officer at (605) 532-5665 for more information.

The softball field is located just south of the Clark Jr/Sr High School, off North Clinton Street. This field is "home base" for the softball leagues and the 14 & Under baseball programs.

The park also has a playground and a pickle ball court. You really need to check it out some time!

Horace Bennett Swimming Pool & Park

The Horace Bennett Swimming Pool and Park is one of the largest outdoor pools in the state. It is now 71 years old and in need of replacement, but until we can afford that, we will keep it going as long as we can. Family and individual passes are available and can be purchased at the pool. Red Cross swimming lessons are also available. Please contact the pool at (605) 532-3155 for more information. The pool is located at 326 3rd Ave NW. Pool hours are seasonal. They are open in the summer from 1 pm to 5 pm and 7 pm to 8:30 pm. It is available for adult swim also, please contact the pool for those hours.

A large, beautiful park adjoins the pool. It offers a playground and picnic shelters that are available on a first come, first serve basis. Also, this is where our world famous Potato Days happens, every year.

This institution is an equal opportunity provider and employer.
